Toro's new Precision nozzle series provides high standards of efficiency in water distribution with static sprinklers. With static sprinklers, it is no longer necessary to sacrifice performance for water resource conservation.
By lowering the standard precipitation rate of 25mm per hour (even less), "O" nozzles are designed to use less water and reduce runoff. The nozzles are also less sensitive to high operating pressures, making it no longer necessary to reduce the pressure to 2.068 BAR as is standard for most static sprinklers, as "O" nozzles control atomization and are insensitive to pressure fluctuations, withstanding up to 3.79 bar. This translates into water savings combined with improved water distribution efficiency. All irrigation efficiency measurement systems such as CU, DU, and SC have demonstrated the greater efficiency of "O" nozzles compared to competitive products.
